Building Trades Student Wins First in State

It’s Electric!

Congratulations to Richard Greer, a Building Trades II student at the College & Career Academy at Pruden (and King’s Fork High School student).  He earned 1st-Place in the Residential Electrical Wiring Demonstration - Action Skills Contest held recently at the SkillsUSA Virginia State Leadership Conference in Virginia Beach.  As the state contest winner, Greer will represent the Commonwealth of Virginia at the SkillsUSA National Leadership Conference in Louisville, Kentucky on June 24-28, 2019.  Greer will be accompanied on the trip by adviser John Thompson, CCAP Building Trades teacher. For more information, contact CCAP principal Connie Burgess at connieburgess@spsk12.net
